Cherry Smoothie Bowl

If you love cherries, this Cherry Smoothie Bowl might be the perfect breakfast recipe for you.

This is a cherry and dark chocolate smoothie flavor. Add any toppings you like and it’s ready to eat. Mine were fresh strawberries, chopped dark chocolate, peanut butter, expanded quinoa and coconut chips.

What toppings go best

Topping are also key to a good smoothie bowl. Use your favorite ones or whatever you have in your kitchen at that moment and matches the smoothie flavor. Try from fresh fruits, any kind of nuts, nuts butter, desiccated coconut, cacao nibs, any kind of seeds ( like chia, flax, etc.) to vegan chocolate and candies.

What kind of blender you should use

Any blender works. But the higher the performance, the less milk you can use, so the smoothies will be thicker. The key to a good smoothie bowl is to use as little liquid as possible. Almost all can blend ice, but if your blender can do that simply use fresh fruits instead of frozen.
