Tropical Stovetop Oatmeal

If you are a big mango and pineapple fan, this Tropical Stovetop Oatmeal recipe is definitely for you.

This is a stovetop oatmeal recipe. I always prefer the stovetop oatmeal, instead of overnight oats, because it is a much comfy breakfast. And heart warming also.

You can also use frozen mango for this recipe.

This recipe uses the liquid of a pineapple compote can or jar. The rest of the pineapple in the can, use it or another recipe or simply eat it later. If you want to replace the compote, use some fresh pineapple and a sweetener.

I recommend you to use rolled oats or fine oats. They are a lot quicker to cook. But you can use any type of oats. If you are using steel cut oats, the time of cooking increases to 20-25 minutes and you will also need to add more water.

It is really that easy to have an amazing and nourishing breakfast to start the day with good energy.
