If you and pumpkin spice are a thing, this Chai Latte Smoothie Bowl recipe is perfect for you.
Chai spice is a mix of cinnamon, ginger, star anise, cloves, cardamom, nutmeg and pepper. You can also find this as a blend or you can make it yourself. If you are using it as a blend use 2 teaspoons of chai spice. Or follow my recipe below. You can also add more or less of each spice depending on your taste.
What toppings go best
Topping are also key to a good smoothie bowl. Use your favorite ones or whatever you have in your kitchen at that moment and matches the smoothie flavor. Try from fresh fruits, any kind of nuts, nuts butter, desiccated coconut, cacao nibs, any kind of seeds ( like chia, flax, etc.) to vegan chocolate and candies.
What kind of blender you should use
Any blender works. But the higher the performance, the less milk you can use, so the smoothies will be thicker. The key to a good smoothie bowl is to use as little liquid as possible. Almost all can blend ice, but if your blender can do that simply use fresh fruits instead of frozen.
