All you’ll need is a peeler and a lunchbox to marinade the vegan salmon. This is on overnight recipe, that needs time to absorb all the flavors.

While most salmon meat come from farms that are not only cruel to the fish, but also damage the whole ecosystem. The problem it’s so big, that affects all the wildlife in that area. And it’s not even healthy, as the meat contains a lot of antibiotics and pesticides. There is absolutely no need for this, when you can choose an ethical alternative.

Ingredients

2 carrots

 

1 nori sheet

1/2 cup soy sauce

1/2 cup water

2 tablespoon olive oil

1 tablespoon maple syrup

1 tablespoon vinegar

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon garlic powder

 

 

Instructions

Step 1: peel the carrots using a potato peeler

Step 2: add the carrots in boiling water and cook for 4-5 minutes

Step 3: in a lunchbox or whatever you have in house, add all the marinade ingredients and shake it for a bit

Step 4: add the cooked carrots in the marinade and let them in the fridge for at least 6 hours (overnight is best)

Step 5: serve it with vegan cream cheese on toast

Step 6: enjoy
