If you first drink coffee in the morning and then do your things, you might love this Espresso Smoothie Bowl Recipe.
This recipe contains caffeine and it’s not recommended to children. Use only instant coffee and not the regular one. Don’t use more than 2 teaspoons instant coffee as it can become bitter. Add some toppings and it’s ready to serve. Mine were fresh strawberries, melted dark chocolate and expanded quinoa.
What toppings go best
Topping are also key to a good smoothie bowl. Use your favorite ones or whatever you have in your kitchen at that moment and matches the smoothie flavor. Try from fresh fruits, any kind of nuts, nuts butter, desiccated coconut, cacao nibs, any kind of seeds ( like chia, flax, etc.) to vegan chocolate and candies.
What kind of blender you should use
Any blender works. But the higher the performance, the less milk you can use, so the smoothies will be thicker. The key to a good smoothie bowl is to use as little liquid as possible. Almost all can blend ice, but if your blender can do that simply use fresh fruits instead of frozen.
