Name a better duo than PB and jelly. Because this is everyone’s favorite, I have a delicious breakfast recipe: The Peanut Butter and Jelly Oatmeal.
This is a stovetop oatmeal recipe. I always prefer the stovetop oatmeal, instead of overnight oats, because it is a much comfy breakfast. And heart warming also.
I didn’t use a sweetener in this recipe, like banana, coconut sugar or maple syrup, because I consider that the jam is sweet enough for this recipe. Depending on how sweet you would like your breakfast to be, add more or less jam. Also you can use any type of jam or jelly for this recipe.
I recommend you to use rolled oats or fine oats. They are a lot quicker to cook. But you can use any type of oats. If you are using steel cut oats, the time of cooking increases to 20-25 minutes and you will also need to add more water.
It is really that easy to have an amazing and nourishing breakfast to start the day with good energy.
